A cable when crushed or deformed in cutting is difficult to use with fittings. Felco cable cutters with the unique triangular jaws, never leave frayed ends. The C7 cuts wire rope 3/16"; in diameter and smaller. The C7 is great also great for hard wire 1/8" and smaller

Quality Loos & Co. American made adjustable hand swaggers are available for cable from 1/32 to 5/16". as are "go-no-go" or sleeve compression gauges. All compressions should be check with a gauge to ensure proper compression.
